How would you describe the range of diversity reflected in your firm’s consultants and leadership (or self, if sole practitioner)?

This firm is a 100% BIPOC, woman-led firm with diversity in ethnicity, religion, and/or sexual orientation.

Please describe your mission, values, and approach:

We are a women-led firm committed to helping organizations and leaders serve their communities more effectively. We are committed to meeting clients where they are, helping to surface the challenge, collaborate to design a path to resolution, and work with the client to a targeted conclusion that is wholistic and rooted in sound and equitable practices.

What expertise or perspective do you bring to organizations looking to ground their collaboration practices in values of diversity, equity, and inclusion?

The core of our practice is the belief that best practices for society should be rooted in equitable principles that create an environment of safety and belonging for all. All our practices are rooted in these principles.

Please describe your ideal engagement. Feel free to include issue area and scope of project:

The client and our team meet to discuss the presenting challenge such as CFO termination. We collaboratively identify a course of action that includes process, tools for addressing the challenge (here it would be things like writing a job description after clarifying the current and immediate future needs, assessing and developing plan for temporary coverage, etc.), identifying resources and information needed, and working to create an acceptable and digestible implementation strategy. This process would need to include various stakeholders to facilitate the most equitable process based on the challenge presented.

How many executive-transition related projects have you or your firm been involved with?

Our project consultants have a vast array of experience working with or being in executive transition.

Please describe your fee structure:

$250 per hour plus travel expenses (includes all staff engaged in project).

What percentage of your clients are within the nonprofit sector?

70%

Are you open to remote engagements?

Yes

Briefly name and describe 1-3 examples of executive transitions with which you have been involved as a consultant (please prioritize NSI-funded and/or LA-based organizations).

Several of our consultants, including the CEO, have either led executive transitions or supported them. In addition, we have extensive consulting experience with executive transitions, including Nonprofit Finance Fund, LA County Bicycle Coalition, California African American Museum, The Theater Offensive, and many more.

Add any other information you feel would aid in understanding the value you or your consulting firm can bring to an organization preparing for or implementing an executive transition:
