Primary service offerings include executive search, recruitment and career-coaching work here at Colibri Consulting Group (CCG). Whether it’s our organizational clients, the candidates we engage with throughout an interview process or individual coaching sessions, we take a people-centered approach. We specialize in building trusting and authentic partnerships where we lead our clients on a journey of transformation and self improvement to achieve results and meet their maximum potential. Our approach is proactive, DEI-centered and we believe in transparent, detailed and regular two-way communication.

We specialize in full cycle, executive search and also tiered recruitment services for nonprofits. Organizations with a high CA presence and/or national offices based outside of CA with flexibility for remote/hybrid staffing is our sweet spot.

How many executive-transition related projects have you or your firm been involved with?

CCG was started in 2017 and has led and supported a vast number of searches annually for nonprofits including executive, c-suite level, director and senior-level roles.

We offer full-cycle executive search support as well as tiered levels of recruitment services to provide additional staff capacity for all levels of an organization. Depending on the package selected and timeline, we craft a tailored budget per project.

100% nonprofit and social impact organizations.

Do you always conduct an organizational assessment as a part of your scope of work?

Yes, we first have an initial exploratory with the prospective client to understand organizational needs and scope before we submit an official proposal. Sometimes, within the delivery of services we will also conduct additional organizational analysis.

How (or do) you involve senior staff and other stakeholders in the process

We typically will have stakeholder interviews with relevant leaders as part of the search process and we also integrate organizational leaders as part of the hiring committee, as well as engaging members as interviewers throughout the interview process where it makes sense.

Prior to narrowing the pool of candidates for a client, do you make it a practice to share the full list of applicants with the client?

Yes, we share applicants with client.
